About Me

Bio
Brittney Parker  (formally Brittney Nelson), born November 5th 1988 in Duarte, Ca. to her both African American parents, Albennie Harris and Earle Parker, who split up when Brittney  was only 1 years old. By age 3, her mother got married to Ernest Nelson who later adopted her. She is the second youngest child of a blended family both biologically and by marriage. She has two sisters and one from her brother biological father and two brother and two sisters from her stepfather. After moving from Duarte to the Inland Empire at the age of six, her step father decided to change her last name from Parker-Brown to Nelson. Her new family had everything their heart’s desired until one life changing incident. Around 2004, her stepfather was arrested and released, then they moved to Texas came back and he was arrested again for tax evasion.
2007, Nelson graduated from independent studies and began her modeling career during her Regional Occupation Program. Her choice of career was in business and fashion; this caused her to take a marketing class with hands on teaching working in clothing store. At the time there was a contest for Seventeen Magazine and Aeropostale, her manager pleaded that she take pictures in front of the store because she looked just like the Caucasian girl on the posters. With hesitation, Nelson finally agreed. After the photos were submitted, weeks went by with no response to if she won the contest or not. But one morning she received a call from New York, at this time she was offered to do live events and fashion shows for seventeen magazines. This is where it all began.
From here on she has been perfecting her craft and learning more about the industry. “All of the fashion shows that I’ve done, nothing can compare to the adrenaline rush you get when stepping out onto that platform; this is for me”, she stated.
Now, at the age of 22 she is proceeding in her modeling career with faith and a beautiful 2 year old boy. “A lot of people thought I’d stop modeling because of my 2 year old, but I would be a bad example if I did. That would be showing him to give up whenever life gets hard.” She decided to change her name back to Brittney Parker-Brown because after many years of being a Nelson, not only did she want to honor her biological family but also get in touch with her roots.

The Beginning of MissParkerTV

"Who says that you can't achieve the highest goal God has for you?" She stated. Well MissParkerTV is the brand and Brittney Parker is the product. The voice, the face, the mind (Motivation & inspiration). This is when it was all taken to another level. "My future is bright but there is always obstacles, I want to encourage young women to have the best life ever!"
