It's finally happening, with God's,With Gods grace, it's FINALLY happening! I must keep this site updated & I feel so bad for not doing so, but here we are! Branding & pushing my career to another level in 2012. It's crazy how the enemy put doubt in my head,  and made me afraid to promote myself & be confident but reality is; I'm talented.

I don't want fame for my own sake. But to make God's name famous. Here, yet again, the enemy has tried to defeat me.

Psh! Like I said, it's about to get real & I'm really excited for 2012. My publicist @MISSLLEPR is holding it down for me and expanding MissParkerTV!

I love the woman I am turning out to be! The YouTube channel is gonna be something different for y'all, I promise. Stay tuned!

*UPDATES* Urban Soul Radio Re-Launch November 1st 2011

So much is happening, I don't know where to being! But I would like to start with re-launch of Urban Soul Radio! Amazingly enough, the team has been taken to new heights. New Staff, new shows & show times, new LOCATION and new mission. With this being said,I am honored to be apart of such team and have these privilages. At the end of the day, this does not feel like work, but that is the blessing too. My co-host Damani Haynes and myself will be bringing back our segment Quick Fix Live with a new time, Saturday from 4-6 PM. So on my birthday, November 5th, our show will be held and I hope all of you guys check it out.

This is My confession

LOL! Yes, I have a GREAT confession. . . I LOVE WEAVES! There, I said it. Finally I have come to this conclusion that I love them and they're not entirely apart of me but I wear some pretty good weaves! LOL. I wrote this because the women in my life pointed this out to me a while ago. I'm always going with a different look. I love long, full, beautiful weaves. Anyway, This is about confidence actually. Everyone thinks you have to not wear weaves or make-up in order to be real. WELL. . .can I share some scripture with about a woman and her hair?? 1 Corinthians 11:15 "But if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering." With this being said, I love who I am in or OUT of my weaves. Being that I am in the modeling/fashion industry I MUST keep it up but like India.Arie says "I am not my hair..." But I do love everything about it. Step outside of the box, be bold and confident, always THANK GOD for who you are. They call me the girl with a thousand faces for a reason! :)

Courage & Strength

It never hit me until a few days ago that I, Brittney Talida Parker, will walk in a path that MANY people are watching, laughing, crying, cheering and praying. Even if my family and friends believe in my journey or not, I alone have to believe in myself. But first, I believe in God which makes it easier to push forth. Lately, I have been meditating on scripture Philippians 3:14 "I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." Can you say ENCOURAGEMENT? This is what keeps me going and of course my beautiful son. So I encourage and PRAY that everyone who looks up to me, first look up to Christ. He is the source of my strength, He is my faith! "I walk this cuz I can back up!"

My motive, my goal, and my life revolves around CHANGE. As a model and example for young women to see them grow. The best thing about being a woman of God is learning and understanding self love. Then, of coure, after understanding it you must put it to work. When did I start loving myself? When I learned that God loved me unconditionally. What I don't want people to get confused is patient and kind.Usually, we are harsh on ourselves, quick to judge and compare. Can you look at yourself in the mirror, with nothing on and say "I love you, you're beautiful?" Everyone is a little self conscious and everyone needs improvement in their lives. Yet, I never fail to remember that God loves me no matter what. So my mission is to seek change, take over the world and have FULL confidence in God. Would you like to join me?
